As an auditor, you will be faced with the task of using critical and analytical thinking skills on a daily basis. Completing this assignment will serve as an opportunity for you to enhance those abilities. 

To begin this assignment, first explore the topic of generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS) through an Internet search. Identify five Internet websites that contain accounting and auditing resources. For each website, identify at least one key resource that you would anticipate using in making a decision as an auditor. Be sure to explain how each piece of information relates to the analytical and critical thinking tasks of an auditor. 

For each site identified, prepare a brief summary of the types of information that are available and combine them within one paper. Also, compare and contrast the information obtained within each website in order to demonstrate potential needs and uses for such information. For example, a good resource might be the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) home page, located at http://www.pcaob.org/. 

Support your paper with minimum of five (5) resources.
