The objective of this assignment is to develop a script and define a method of communication for obtaining a local business sponsor for your Senior Capstone Project.  The script will represent the exact words you intend to use when reaching out to a business to obtain their support. DO NOT CONTACT THE BUSINESS. 

Part One:

 Your script should include the following:

-Ask to speak with the business manager or owner.

-Provide your name, and explain that you are a Santa Fe student working on your degree in ....

-Explain the purpose of the Sr Capstone Project.

-Explain that you are seeking a sponsor willing to identify a business challenge in the following areas: 1)Teamwork, 2)Internal Communication, 3)Workflow Improvement or 4)Change Management. 

-Explain that you will work closely with the sponsor to get their agreement on your approach and schedule. But at this time you would like to know if they are interested in the sponsorship.

-If they are interested in working with you on your senior capstone project, ask if they would like to identify their business challenge now or get back with you?

-Thank you. I will be getting back in touch with you.

PART 2:

State which method of communication you will use: phone or face to face.  Justify your first and second choice. Consider your own comfort zone and the type of business you are reaching out to.
