Play was the major work for the two to three year olds and getting along with others was a challenging developmental task of early childhood. They experienced group activities or one-on-one friendships, helping them to master new social skills and become acquainted with the social norms and processes involved in interpersonal relationships.
The twin girls liked playing by themselves. They were sometimes speaking to a toy car. Anna was enjoying playing with others. She liked assigning roles like “I’ll be the baby. You’ll be the daddy. Ok?” They didn’t actively sharing the toys but they would do so if the teacher tells them to. I also observed some rejection behavior like pushing and hitting others with toys, but they got back again very soon.
In conclusion, the children of the early childhood do portray healthy relations.
