Unit 4 Discussion 1: Exploring WMI 1 1 unread reply. 1 1 reply.
Windows Management Instrumentation is a comprehensive technology that provides information about virtually every detail of a Windows computer system. It is so comprehensive that it is sometimes difficult to find the information you need.
In this discussion, you will identify the information that is critical to system security or operation. Using the NETLAB+ environment, download the WMI Explorer (Links to an external site.) tool and attempt to locate the WMI classes that contain this information.
In your discussion post:
2. Identify the WMI Classes and specific properties of the classes that contain each piece of information. As you respond to your peers, verify that you can find the classes and properties they identified in their posts. Discuss whether you agree or disagree with their justifications.
You must respond to at least two (2) of your classmates. Ask questions to get the conversation moving. To further enhance the discussion, return to your original post throughout the week and respond to a few of the comments and questions raised by classmates and instructor.
