Technology has provided educators the opportunity to create innovative strategies to enhance student learning. It has also created a myriad of opportunities for communication. In the digital age, the types of technologies that are available have opened doors and avenues for communicating with others from varying distances, even across the globe. Educators are no longer limited to contacting families and stakeholders by the use of a telephone or written communication. They can now use technology as a main source of communication. Think about your local educational setting and how technology is used as a form of communication. What are the ethical and legal implications you must consider?
