SUBJECT:Â ESTABLISHMENT OF THE CODE OF ETHICS
The code of ethics provides a framework in which to address several different issues that arise in the organizational settings. It sets boundaries on how all employees will deal with each other as well as channels to follow especially when there is a conflict between different parties (Adelstein & Clegg, 2015). The code of ethics is being formulated after increase in number of activities related to conflicts as well as poor reporting of conflicts in the company. It also follows that there the company is still young and needs to address issues that will arise in the future. The code of ethics will set all of the above standards and determine the type of activities that will be followed in case any form of disturbance or conflict occurs (Organization, 2010). The code is formulated and followed by all employees. This year’s meeting will take place in the auditorium next to the human resource manager it will start at exactly 8 am in the morning.
Since the code of conduct will guide the behavior of the company, all employees should be present at the meeting. All employees have will be present since it will be a normal working day in the company and thus the activities of the day would be suspended to give precedence to the above important activity. The day will be covered as a work day and therefore any employee who misses the meeting knowingly or unknowingly without providing reason to the managers of their respective groups will miss out on that days salary and will be blacklisted in the companies black book as failing to adhere to the company instructions
In case anyone has an emergency, they will be required to log into the database system and record the emergency before being given lee way to attend the emergency. All those who will fail to adhere to the above or have no records will be recorded as absent employees.
The company is emphasizing on the code of conduct for various reasons. This code will govern daily activities of all members. Without the code, numerous unjust and unfair practices occur and they are never dealt in time and sufficiently (Organization, 2010). The code will address all issues including ethics and conflicts. This is an opportunity you should not miss.
