Conversations as a nurse, discussion 2 rep3 help

Please do a paragraph about this post with this instruction .

post most have  4 or more  sentences .

you also have to have a high quality post from a content perspective. This means it also needs to do more than agree with or praise a class mate. If you agree with a classmate, explain why, give an example, share what you learned in the readings, ask questions of each other, etc.

It is important to be an active listener when opening up the
conversation. Allow adequate time for the patient and family to discuss what
brought them there. Encourage questions to establish trust for further
dialogue. Use simple wording when explaining treatments or medications. For
someone who is brand new to this, all the medical terminology can be very
confusing. Clearly state objectives of what the meeting is for. Without a learning objective that
clearly communicates specific student behavior or performance, it is difficult,
if not impossible to determine exactly what a particular lesson is supposed to
accomplish (Kizlik, 2016). Repeat key objectives and terms often to help them resonate
with the patient as being important. Offer additional support systems or
further education through community groups or classes. If you are in a position
that allows, it is great to be able to follow up with the patient to see how
they're doing and to ask if they need any further assistance. Finally, if you are
teaching a skill it is crucial that you practice return demonstration with
them. After you demonstrate once, have them do the same thing to assess their understanding
and capability.
