elementary charges

1.what must be true about individual elementary charges for your method of determining their values to be valid in the millikan oil drop experiment?

2. why must a large number of values to be used to get a reliable answer? what error migh result if only a fre oil drops were used, or if all the oil drops contained an even number of chrages?
