At one point you thought about leaving the company because there was a lack of structure in the department.

Director of Ticket Sales Presentation

You have recently been promoted to the Director of Ticket Sales for a semi-professional sports team in the southern United States. In your previous position with the company, you noticed that many of the sales and marketing personnel seemed unhappy and there was fairly high employee turnover. At one point you thought about leaving the company because there was a lack of structure in the department. As a result, one of your primary focuses in your new position was to address these issues and create a sustainable work culture.

The Club President, to whom you report, asked you to create a presentation of your vision to share with the department. Besides the president and your direct reports, your peers across the company will be present during the presentation as well. Therefore, the components of the presentation must include both short-term and long-term goals. As a part of your 10-12 slides, create a brief description of each of the following:

  1. Vision statement
  2. Goals (e.g., organizational sales goals, revenue goals, team and individual goals)
  3. Strategies to drive ticket sales and support revenue goals
  4. Training and Retention plan
  5. Collaboration plan with Directors of Marketing, Operations, Public Relations, etc.
  6. Any other details necessary to include
