I am working with statcrunch and I need to construct a simple regression model to answer the question of length of stay for MI patients based on gender. My null hypothesis is
Written: H0 : μ = 0 indicating no significant difference and I have computed to mean length of stay to be 6.84. Should I change the null hypothesis to reflect the mean? Also when computing the simple regression model which is the x and which is the why. I assume length of stay is x and gender is y?Â
