Instructions

  1. Do the following in a Word document:
  • Gather data of 10 values. To gather data, you can ask five males and five females how much each of them paid for their last haircut. These can be friends, family members, or total strangers. You may choose to gather a different type of data, but be sure that you have 10 values.
  • Post the 10 data values.
  • Create a stem-and-leaf plot in the Word document using your 10 values. Then, discuss and describe the significance of the stem-and-leaf plot in your data analysis.
  • Create a histogram for the same data. Compare and contrast the stem-and-leaf plot and the histogram.
  • Name an alternative method you can use to graph this data.
