Question description
Â
Download and fill in the attached form. You will need to put some thought into the research question you will answer with your paper. In addition, the form asks for some potential sources of information. Before you finalize your topic/question choice, you should search the online library to see if there are good articles on your topic. You can list some of the sources on this form. But you should also consider changing subjects if you can't find any good resources. A research paper is only as good as the references that back up its statements. Set yourself up for success by doing some preliminary research to ensure that you'll have the sources you'll need.
Keep in mind that a research paper should answer a new question. Research questions should be asking "How could...", not "How did...". So a research question might be, "How could a global company improve their personnel management with Information Systems?" Your research should look at the ways that other companies have solved that problem - or a similar, but applicable problem. That's how you develop alternative solutions through your literature review. That's why I'm asking you to do a bit of research before submitting your question. I'll be honest: I always researched my papers in grad school before submitting my research question. If there wasn't a good set of sources for me to rely on, I would dump that idea. Why make your life difficult?
When you've filled in the form, submit the Word document through this link.
