The Bailey Family Foundation, founded by Strayer University's past President Ron K. Bailey, offers $5,000 educational scholarships to college students pursuing an undergraduate degree who demonstrate financial need and scholastic achievement by possessing a minimum cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5.

Within the essay portion of the application, you will be asked to do three things:

1. Tell the reviewers about your goals.
2. Describe any community service or other activities that have influenced your life.

About me: My name is Kerri L Jeter and I reside in Columbia, SC. I am a full time student with a full time job. I am single with no children. My goal is to finish my BA and go on to finish my masters degree. I have a 3.5 GPA right now. My income is just enough to pay my bills. Any help would be appreciated for my education. On my spare time I like to participate with my church choir in various activities, spending time with family and friends.
