  • Column 1 - selected state counties
  • Column 2 - 2010 population
  • Columns 3 and beyond - values of selected variables

Calculate the state's mean and standard deviation for your selected variables.

Construct a frequency table and histogram for your selected variables.

Calculate the mode and median for your selected variables.

Prepare a Word document in which you explain normality of the distribution and assess the importance. See Assessing Normality, Section 6.6 in Elementary Statistics for more information on normality of distribution (histogram, looking for outliers) and how to assess its importance.
