What is the original amount of the parent material?,

Half life: 100 seconds
current age: 300 seconds
current amount of daughter material: 17.5 grams



What is the original amount of the parent material? The answer is not 140. I was told to keep in mind that the amount of daughter quickly approaches the initial total mass. Any after one half life the current daughter will always exceed the total initial mass
