We're moving into focusing on our final paper, which will be a persuasive, or argumentative, essay. For this discussion board, search the Internet for persuasive-type article that you found lacked the components to be persuasive. So, in other words, check out a news article, blog, or opinion section of newspaper and discuss why you found the article to NOT be persuasive. 

1. Find an article that is meant to attempt to persuade the reader but that you find lacking in persuasive techniques. 

2. Cut and paste the article to the discussion board so we can all read it.

3. Discuss why the article failed to persuade you. Was the author not credible? Was the author rude? Did the author fail to use supporting points to backup their point of view?
