Generating hypotheses for t-tests and ANOVAs, homework help

Question description

 

Post a null hypothesis that would use a t test statistical analysis.. Use the same hypothetical situation taken in the t test hypothesis, and turn it into a null hypothesis using a one-way ANOVA analysis and a two-way ANOVA.

If a t-test calculates a difference between means why the heck do I need ANOVA that also looks at the difference between means?
One-Way ANOVA is used in difference situations from a Two-Way. Why? What new information does a Two-Way give me?
