Penny left pizza on her kitchen counter last night. When Penny got up the next morning, there were ants all over her kitchen. These ants, however, were not ordinary ants-they were traveling in groups. When she found where the ants were entering her kitchen, she began counting the number of ants she saw in each group. In the first group, Penny counted 16 ants. In the next group , she counted 22 ants. The third group contained 28 ants. Each group was bigger than the previous group by 6 ants.
