who is the Kid ?

From my readying to the last chapters of the book, it seems the kid is a young professional guy who is consider as smart genius person in his 20’s who leads a company. I still remember when Maggie asked Barton to meet with professional people who had experienced putting business requirements and IT together as a consultant adviser for IT, then Barton start meeting this guy at the bar where it seems the author of the book trying to tell us that this kid is one of the smartest guy who gives Barton advices, first thing he told Barton it was “You have to know what you don’t know, but you can’t cling to not knowing”. I think Barton likes this advice because at the beginning of the book we can see Barton trying to get to know what is not knowing in the IT world where he start searching in how to bring IT and business together. This kind of advice make the leader to know how to make decision when it comes to decision-making after knowing what is not knowing by flipping any subject upside down to see the whole picture where it helps to  develop a project. The kid is a consultor in technology because whenever Barton stock in his work or have a question we see him jumping into the kid and ask him for advices. On the other hand, when Jonathan offers Barton a job, that explained the kid he owns a company where then he told Barton he is the founder of Dazzle company which it make sense but he didn’t like to show identity which I think is the secret for an IT leader to not showing their talented to the public where they worth millions of dollars so people could not take advantage on them. It make sense from the beginning when the author call Jonathan “the kid” which mean in my understanding  any kid in general has this motivation of  knowing what is not knowing and they will keep searching to know everything to reach their goals and dreams which Jonathan was called the kid.
