· The latter part of Chapter 8 describes the notion of a coming “3D Revolution”. Review the video titled “3D Printing in Action”, located in your course shell; then, speculate on three (3) benefits that you believe this revolution will offer society. Next, imagine you were given a 3D printer. What would be the first item you create? Then, explain why you chose to create this item for your first 3D printer experience.
· Chapter 9 addressed a new form of digital entertainment through the concept of “niche corners” and “niche communities.” In these online communities, people come together from around the world through the use of videos, blogs, and other digital means to share a common passion. If you had your own YouTube channel, state three (3) passions you would like to share with others globally? Next, discuss two (2) benefits and two (2) concerns you may have while using your YouTube channel. Justify your response.
