One tail test equation , statistics homework help

Question description

Assume that you are in charge of special education for the Miami Dade School District. The district implemented a program which involves “integrating” autistic children with other children in the classroom. You want to compare the results of a special education based on “inclusion (or integration)” with one that is not based on integration approach. You take random sample of 36 autistic students in integrated classrooms and find that their score on a certain test averages 900 (assume standard deviation of population is 50). This compares to the test score for all autistics children in non-integrated classrooms of 850.

§Test if an autistic child’s performance in an integrated classroom is greater than in non-integrated classroom at the 1 percent of significance level (One-tail test).
