In this assignment, you will go through the steps to set up a qualitative research study.
TOPIC SELECTED: Patient barriers to pediatric care
Â
identify three articles related to your topic. Using the steps to conduct qualitative research analysis, outlined in weeks 5 and 6, provide the following for each article:
Research three scholarly articles on your topic (journal articles).
- What themes and codes are salient across all three articles? (If you select articles with qualitative research studies on your topic, the codes and themes will already be outlined for you). Themes and codes may be interchangeable. Find at least 5 themes and 10 codes.
- A codebook includes a list of themes, definitions of each theme and the codes that fall under each theme. A codebook is also a list of codes and the definition of each code. Develop a codebook on concurrent themes and codes from the articles you selected. Expect some overlap of concepts presented in your articles, this means there is consistency in the literature based on the data!
