Based on the course objectives, I feel very confident about the knowledge and experience i gained in this class. I have mastered the following objectives

• Evaluate tools and processes used in IT governance, compliance, and auditing scenarios
• Analyze laws, regulations, and standards requiring IT compliance
• Create an IT audit project plan for a sample organization
• Recommend an IT compliance and governance approach for a sample organization

 

I feel I still need to master reading and understand IT project management and how it related to IT control objectives and compliance. Since I do not have work experience in IT, sometimes I get lost in the middle of an assignment. I think I just need to dedicate time to read, read and read to overcome this hurdle.

This is a very valuable course. This course helped me concepts and aspects of IT governance, compliance, and auditing in relation to Cyber security. This course also helped me gain a good insight of compliance with laws, regulations, policies and procedures as a means of minimizing risk through mandated security and control measures. I might soon try my options on managing a project and deliver it successfully. That would be a true testament to what I have learnt in this course.

Thanks to Professor ________ for keeping us on track and the valuable suggestions he made in the assignments that helped me understand where I could improve.
