There's no guarantee that NetherRealm Studios is gonna develop the character even if people back up fundraising campaign so it is gonna be a petition instead. With big dreams and a small budget, often times a collaborative effort is necessary.  An environment where everyone pulls together their resources to make one fully functioning machine of talent is the best way to make your dreams come true.  It just so happens “Khrome”has all the components to be the perfect place for this concept. We need your help to bring “Khrome” to life.  Who is Khrome you ask?  The character known as “Khrome” came from humble and unexpected beginnings. Pop Culture Shock Collectibles, the maker of Mortal Kombat collectible figurines, made a simple mistake – while producing figurines of another character, “Smoke”, they mistakenly made the accents of his suit a little lighter and shiny looking. They offered the new style to Mortal Kombat's creator, Ed Boon… Khrome was born.

Our popular culture reinforces the idea thatMortal Kombat was a childhood staple and for while you couldn’t miss it, with the movie, vide games, characters and music, and it still hold a huge fan following today. Help us establish a place to cultivate “Khrome” and all his powers, to serve people in need of a new evolving character.  Finding out your contribution made a character come to life, will be life changing. Empower us to make this vision a reality with a sign to this project today!

More about the Project

The name of “Khrome” inspired an image of a new character with the powers of liquid metal and mirrors. Many Mortal Kombat characters also have a similar elemental vibe – so, Khrome is where steel meets water. Rather than leaving Khrome as a basic palette swap, we decided to go one better and had artists expand on the character’s design. We took the standard ninja suit and expanded on that to give him a bladed arm and a mask of chrome to cover his mouth. Aside from the blade attacks from his arm, we envision many other special moves based on shape shifting and deflection.– This fact prompted us to dig deeper into a solution in how we could bring Khrome to a larger market.  This is when we decided crowdsourcing would be an amazing platform for this character.So we started to envision “Khrome” and all the possible benefits we could bring to people through crowdfunding:

When reviewing these benefits and much more, it inspired and assured us that this is a character that needs to be created.We feel these features will make us incredibly qualified to succeed.  This paired with attention to detail and quality service to all of our funders will make us the leader in the industry. Unfortunately we have noticed when companies design new concepts they contain preliminary flaws but our goal is to stay dedicated to quality because we know your gaming is at stake!
