1. Assume that the spinner to the right cannot land on a line.  Determine the probability that the spinner lands on the red and determine the probability that the spinner lands on the blue.     diagram has 3 red, 2 green,  1 yellow.

2.  A dart is thrown randomly and sticks on the circular dart board with 26 partitions, as shown. Assume that the dart cannot land on the black area or on a border between colors. Determine the probability that the dart lands on the area marked with a number greater than or equal to 15.

 3.  Refer to the table on the right, which shows the type and manufacturer of vehicles at a specific car dealership. If one person selects a vehicle at random from the

dealership, determine the probability that the person selects a domestic car.

6. A coffee franchise is opening a new store. The company estimates that there is 80% chance the store will have a profit of $20,000 , a5 % chance the store will break even, and a15 % chance the store will lose $4000 . Determine the expected gain or loss for this store.

7.  An airline is planning its staffing needs for the next year. If a new route is approved, it will hire 915 new employees. If a new route is not granted, it will hire only 187 new employees.
