Identifying music in a movie

I am a 24 year old guy so to make it look like I did it, it cannot be any chick flicks or something that wouldn't really be of interest to an average 24 year old male.

M250 Assignment 2 –  Film and Musical Theatre

What is your favorite musical or movie and why?  (You cannot answer ”I don’t have one.”)How does the music contribute to the effect of the work? If you took the music out would it be as effective? Try viewing your favorite scene with the sound turned down or before a song is sung in a musical, turn down the sound, then turn it back up after, is the scene as effective?
