The article describes how the CEO of Timberland, Jeff Swartz, responded to the public when his company faced emails from Greenpeace.

Write about 300 words in your response (+/- 50 words).

1. What were the different "audiences" Swartz had to respond to in this situation?

2. What were three of the issues Swartz faced in trying to draft appropriate communications to Greenpeace?

3. What role is played by the use of language, such as "guerilla tactics"? Discuss the impact of using such thinking about the problem (remember words reflect thoughts about objects/actions).

4. What would you have done, using concepts from the chapters you have just read, to handle this problem? Be sure to properly identify the concept.
