Excel Cycle time question:

Excel Cycle time question:

You will need to perform a data analysis on our Service Request (SR) cycle time:

Specifically, What is the end-to-end cycle time - (Formula: Column D - Column C)

There are 4 different teams - (Diamond, Gold, Silver, and TSS-A) ....All other enteries are typos/bad data.

Perform a data analysis to highlight which teams are the best and which are the worst. Obviously, you will need to clean the data first to make sure you have no outliers, negative values, blank rows etc.

** Cycle time only includes workdays (exclude weekends) and only includes 9am - 5pm working hours. The rest of the day can be ignored from the cycle time - you can search the web for any appropriate formulas that will help you.

The data file is attached SR Cycle time_Modified.xls

_______

I've attached the Excel document I've been working on so far, but my question is, how can filter by a range of hours (9am-5pm) when it's over multiple days?

I know how to do it if it was only one day, but I'm stuck on how to do it over multiple days. I could manually break it down by each day and only count the hours on that day and then add it up, but I was wondering if there's a quicker formula that could count the cycle time for me based on what's already on my spreadsheet.

Also, how to filter out Saturdays and Sundays? By what I've done I can filter out if it started or ended on a Sat. or Sunday, but I also want to filter out those days in between. For example, if the cycle was from Friday, Sept. 8 to Monday Sept. 11., how do I filter out the Sat. and Sunday in between the start and end date?
