DQ1: Class, you just became the Director of Security of a electronic manufacturing plant. The previous Director was removed because she was lazy, and hired mostly family and friends. Many of those she hired had criminal histories for theft, drug use and sales, and assaults - all felonies. When you opened the desk drawers you found a file that contained complaints made against your security officers for sleeping on duty, overbearing conduct with some of the employees of the plant, and pilferage. You could not find any documentation that detailed where action was taken against those security officers. When you called the former Director of Security she told you that she did not take any action because the company made a lot of money and the family members and friends she hired needed the job to support their families.
