This is an example of Position based negotiation because the main idea involved is the price alone regardless of other interests.

Question (2), in the “House on Elm Street” negotiation, Pat could pay no more than 250,000 for the house.

This is pats reservation price because it is the least favorable price at which he is accepting a negotiated agreement. It is the maximum price he is only prepared to pay for the house
