"Resources, Week 4, Forum 4b Articles."

For this forum discussion, I want you to find an article in the lay press, then find the original research article used to generate that lay article. Here is an example. I found the following lay article in USA Today.  You can click on this link:

Lay Press Article.  If the link does not work, the article is available under "Resources, Week 4, Forum 4b Articles."

Then I found the original research article:  Research Article.  If the link does not work, the article is available under "Resources, Week 4, Forum 4b Articles."

The library has the following resource that may be helpful:  http://apus.libanswers.com/faq/2344

In your initial forum post, give the reference for both the lay article and research article.  Then discuss the lay article and the original research article. Did the journalist go too far? Does the research support the statements the journalist made? Be sure to support your statements with facts from the research article and other reputable sources if needed. Remember, your initial post must be >500 words and submitted by Wednesday midnight.
