‘Drunk drivers

Examine the following claim: ‘Drunk drivers who are convicted of causing a collision in which others are injured should be compelled to compensate the victims of the collision.’ Read statements (a) through (d) and identify any statement(s) that is irrelevant to the claim.

(a) It is unfair to expect victims to bear the cost of someone else’s negligence.

(b) Costs to victims arise as a result of the action of the drunk driver.

(c) A policy of compelling victim compensation for collisions caused by drunk drivers would reduce the incidence of repeat drunk driving offenses.

(d) Compelling compensation is only just where there is intent to injure on the part of the injuring party.

could you help me with this question?
