Jersey has been employed by Stocks LTD for over 15 years. He is in regional retail management and works in the head office. A new Chief Executive Officer has recently been appointed and she has new ideas about building Stocks' reputation. One of them is that all staff must wear uniform, which consists a tie for men and a blouse for women. They both feature a cartooned bowl of fruit. Jersey finds a clause in his original contract that says he is required to wear a uniform where appropriate, but he has refused to wear the uniform since he is not working in any of the retail outlets and rarely meets customers.
