Based on the readings for Unit 4 and our previous studies of moral theory, do you believe that prostitution should be legalized if it is regulated to meet safety standards? Why or why not? Formulating an answer to this question will require you to analyze your feelings about sexual relationships and the extent to which they are different from other activities which we pursue with consenting adults. If you think that sexual relationships are inherently different than other activities, and deserving of more respect, try to explain why you believe this. If you think that sexual relationships are not necessarily on a higher moral plane and can be engaged in liberally (assuming that it is with consenting adults and there is no deception involved), please also explain why you believe this.
