This week you learned about the basics of sensation and perception—how individuals experience stimuli (sensation) and turn it into meaning through transduction, leading to interpretation (perception). People can share an experience "a sensation" (tasting a food, hearing a sound, witnessing an act), yet may have very different "perceptions" from one another.  How do you explain how different people have different perceptions from the same sensation? Choose a sensory receptor(s), using terms and concepts learned from your readings, and give some specific examples that you have experienced to help explain this phenomenon.
