  • Who is the licensor? Who is the licensee? 
  • What is the licensed merch? Which product category is it in? 
  • Where is the product being distributed exclusively? What kind of channel is this? 
  • Is this a good fit? Why or why not?

 

2. According to The Licensing Letter, Footwear retailer DSW has partnered with the Broadway's musical "Kinky Boots" to launch an exclusive capsule collection at DSW's 34th Street store in New York City. 

The Kinky Boots Collection was curated in the spirit of the show and celebrates the power that comes with self-expression and being true to yourself. 

Conduct some research online to learn more about this deal and then answer the following questions:
