I would rate Franklin D. Roosevelt's efforts to end the Great Depression a 3. The reason why I gave it a 3 is because a lot of the policies that e put in place did not work effectively at the time. Franklin D. Roosevelt's efforts to end the Great Depression developed with him starting something called the New Deal. One of the programs he created was the emergency banking act which empowered the Reconstruction Finance Corporation to purchase bank stock and allowed the Federal Reserve greater currency issuance powers. He started the by shutting down all of the nations banks with the help of congress. He also ended the prohibition act which allowed Americans to began purchasing beer again. President Roosevelt also created a second New Deal which acted more aggressively to the problems that Americans were facing. The second New Deal created programs like the United States Housing Authority. I feel that Roosevelt created a lot of great programs to help America. Also, I feel like he genuinely cared about the people. A lot of the assistance that he started back then, we still use today. For example, Americans still use welfare and social security. Thats why I chose to rate his efforts a 3 because it did not do A lot then, but it is a big help now. He started the path for a better life for Americans.do you agree
