Gather research articles and screen them for applicability Search for articles using online databases

You need to write 4-5 pages. The group paper is focused on how Information Systems is related to the self driving car. Wriye about how your articles tie into this, if needed you can use more articles. Double spaced 12pt font

Gather research articles and screen them for applicability Search for articles using online databases such as ScienceDirect, EBSCO, and ProQuest available through the PLU library website. Experiment in the variety of search terms to make sure you are getting enough information from diverse and relevant sources. In most cases read beyond the abstract in order to know whether an article is suitable to your project. A four-person team requires a minimum of 12 articles. Smaller/larger sized teams should adjust their article count accordingly. 4 Articles should be a minimum of 5 pages and be published by reputable sources. There are no publication date restrictions but the nature of the project topic may limit your date range. Deliverables The deliverables include: 1) topic selection, 2) progress report, 3) a 30-minute presentation to class with PowerPoint slides, and 4) a Team Paper that covers the presentation. See the course schedule for due dates for each item. For all documents please use MS Word and/or PPT file format. Each team will provide the instructor one hard copy of the paper and one hard copy of the PPT slides used in the presentation. Requirements for teams larger or smaller than four members will be adjusted proportionately. Finalizing your topic requires sending an email to professor (one per team) that describes your topic in one or two thoughtfully worded sentences. After you have received an acknowledgement email from professor, you are free to proceed with the remaining tasks in your project. Topic selection is first come, first serve, so you are encouraged to give this some thought early on in the semester. Information Systems Research Project Report A final information systems research report (20-25 pages, double-spaced, 12-point font) will be prepared and presented in the final sections of the class. You need to analyze how information systems improve the value creation process in business (e.g., cost, quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction) and to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. Each student team will be required to make a 25-30 minutes formal presentation of their research findings, followed by a 5-minute questions and answers section. As a member of an assigned team, each student is expected to contribute significant amount of efforts to the project.
