Bob confesses to his attorney

Bob confesses to his attorney that he is the murderer of Mary.  Bob further tells his attorney where the murder weapon is hidden.  He also tells the attorney the location of Mary's body.   The police have not discovered the murder yet, so Bob has not been charged.  Even if they find Mary's body, they might not suspect Bob.  There is no reason to believe that Bob will kill anyone in the future. According to the predominant ethics code applicable to attorneys...

The attorney is ethically obligated to the police about the murder- including the identity of his/her client.

The attorney is obligated to inform the police of the whereabouts of the body and weapon, but not the identity of the client.
