Following the format of the sample case briefs we did in class and can be found in your course shell, read and brief the case State v. Campbell, 195 Ohio App.3d 9, 2011-Ohio-3458, 958 N.E.2d 622 (1st Dist.)  We did two types of case briefs: one for an appeals case and one for a trial court case.  You will need to figure out what type of case State v. Campbell is when completing this case. Remember to discuss each of the issues the court discussed and explain the court’s reasoning.  Assume that I have not read the case and that I am relying on your summary of it.  Please see grading rubric below.

Performance Criteria (Standards Used in Grading):

1.         Attach grading rubric to assignment in one file to the appropriate dropbox.

2.          Include the required parts of case briefs.

3.         Use quality standards for assignments (syllabus).

4.         Follow instructions.

5.         Use your own words. No copying and pasting language from the case.

6.         Keep briefs to one page.

7.         Review rubric for all grading criteria.
