George advertises sale of antique vases in a local newspaper on Saturday 1st August for $7000.

Daisy leaves a message on George's phone on Monday 3 August saying she will buy the vases for $7000 as long as George accepts on or before 5pm on Friday 7 August at the latest. She promises to wait for him until then.

George rings her at 10am on Friday 7 August and tells her that the sale can go ahead. She tells him that he took so long she assumed he had sold the vases to someone else. She says she has changed her mind and no longer wants them.
