Gerard posted a letter to Bob offering

On 1 January 2015, Gerard posted a letter to Bob offering to sell his car for $37,000. Bob posted the letter of acceptance on 15 January 2015 but the letter reached Gerard on 30 January 2015. Gerard called Bob on 14 January 2015 withdrawing his offer and sold his motorcycle to Kent on the same day. Bob sues Gerard for breach of contract. Advise Bob as to his legal rights against Gerard in relation to the agreement.
