The Affordable Care Act (ACA) website was launched a few years ago, and had some major problems. Most new "emerging" technologies generally follow "The Gartner Hype Cycle" - see http://www.gartner.com/newsroom/id/2575515 or Google "Gartner Hype Cycle". Relate the "Innovation trigger" for the ACA Website through the "Peak of Inflated Expectations" through the "trough of disillusionment" - in other words, should we have expected what happened to the ACA website when it was launched? Are Computer/Information Technology ethics involved (hint: Week 7 and Week 8 Topics "Software Development" and "The Impact of Information Technology on Productivity and Quality of Life").
