For this discussion, you will need to read a classic and influential study on twins separated at birth.  Click on the following link to read the study...Bouchard MinTwinsStudy.pdf.  You will focus on two issues in this discussion.  First, you will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the study.  For this part, you will need to look in your text and review the area related to research in Chapter 1.  Then you will identify at least two strengths of the study and two weaknesses or limitations of the study.  The article on How to Be a Wise Consumer of Research at http://www.apa.org/research/action/mer.aspx may help in this part of the discussion. Write on paragraph on those strengths and weaknesses.

For the second part of this discussion, you will give your EDUCATED opinion about the findings of this study.  If your ideas are different than the article's findings (i.e. you believe more in the influence of nurture), discuss those ideas in relation to the findings.  How could this study's findings be inaccurate that nature is so influential?  Just stating your belief that nature or nurture is more influential is not enough.  You need to present your critical thinking as it relates to the topic of nature vs. nurture. Write one paragraph on your ideas and your supporting "evidence" for those ideas.
