A World League of Peace”

What are the major differences (and why did those differences occur) in two speeches given by President Woodrow Wilson on World War I and the peace to end that war.

The first, “A World League of Peace” January 22, 1917, was delivered before the US entered WWI (www.presidency.ucsb.edu/ws/index.php?pid=65396).

The Second, “Address to a Joint Session of Congress on the Conditions of Peace” [The 14 Points Speech] was given on January 8, 1918, when the US had joined with Britain and France to fight Germany (www.presidency.ucsb.edu/ws/index.php?pid=65405).   Due January 12 or 19.
