Read Gonzales v. Google, Inc., in chapter eleven of your textbook.

Read Gonzales v. Google, Inc., in chapter eleven of your textbook.  Based on the case and your reading this week:

  1. Why did Google object to turning over the search queries to the Government?
  2. What issue did the court raise on its own?
  3. Why did the court grant the subpoena requests to turn over the URLs but deny the request for the search queries?
  4. Do you think the Government could use the search queries for other purposes?  Why or why not?  Was this an important concern for the court?

The paper should be APA formatted and be approximately two – three pages in length.
