What if you liked golf or bull fights or Nascar, and that's what you like to spend your time watching. However, if you spent more time going to museums, theaters, or reading books, rather than playing golf or watching car races wouldn't you be better off in the long run? And wouldn't nature be better off too? But if golf or Nascar are all you've been brought up with, wouldn't you want the government, local gov or schools, to introduce you to theater, opera, great books, paintings, and other achievements of human spirit, so that you would develop these parts of human personality as well? Well, at the beginning you probably would not want to be coerced to go to the museum or read books, but at the end, you would be grateful to the government, like some people are grateful to their teachers for opening their eyes to the arts or books they would not have otherwise known.
