Among the challenges outlined in Human Capital Management today is the development of an overall Talent Management System (TSM) and in particular, the acquisition and procurement of the right key talent for the organization.
Â
a) How does the general definition of "Key Talent" apply to your organization? Be specific in relation to the possible percentage (%) of this pool in relation to other positions.
Â
b) Do you have a Talent Management System (TSM) in your organization and in particular, "Talent Inventory" with competencies/ skills matrix? If you have one, re-look at it and what are the changes that you may want to make at it. If you do not have one, then you and your group members should develop at least the overall framework. You can limit to only the critical workforce. Be practical about it.
Â
c) What are among some measures that you may want to establish yo ensure the retention of your "Key Talent"?
Â
NB: Use Chief positions, like CEO, CFO, CTO
