I understand the difference in photosynthesis cycles between C3 and C4 plants but would C4 plants still have a better photosynthetic rate if the atmospheric CO2 were to double lets say to 700 ppm? Would C3 and C4 plants photosynthetic metabolism be the same since there wouldn't be enough O2 for C3 plants to go into photo-respiration?
