I need to complete a final project at the end of the course. Â we will select an issue in HR that they have observed in a high school. Students will utilize the understandings they have gained from course discussions, readings, and all other experiences to complete this project.
Â
Students will interview an administrator within their organization for this project. This might be a school principal, assistant principal, or someone in the HR department. Since administrators often take breaks during the summer, arrange this interview during the first week of the course. A list of suggested questions will be provided.
Â
The final project will consist of a power point presentation OR Prezi with voice over. The presentation should be of a quality that could be shared with colleagues in the workplace. The final project is worth 15 points and must include the following:
Â
·       A power point or Prezi presentation (with brief narrative and bullet points) that includes between 15-20 slides with voice over narration
Â
·       Description of the issue
Â
·       Explanation of why this issue was a problem in the workplace
Â
·       Summary of interview questions and answers
Â
·       Review of literature about the issue (minimum of two peer-reviewed journal articles)
Â
·       Suggestions and recommendations for addressing the issue
Â
·       Action plan for resolving the issue with timeline
Â
All references must be in APA format. Follow guidelines posted in course.
